CHICKEN LITTLE
One day I was working here in the shop minding my own business. All of a sudden this little baby chicken comes walking in and started following me around like a lost puppy dog. Every time I would come to a stop for a moment it would climb up on the toe of my boot and sit down like it belonged there. I thought this was pretty cute but kept working and made an effort not to step on the chicken.
When it came time to go home I ran the little chicken out of the shop and locked the doors. I then got in my truck to go home. As I was backing out the little chicken started chasing the truck out of the parking lot. I started thinking of all of the half wild neighborhood cats and instantly I was stuck. I got out of the truck and unlocked the shop and found an appropriately sized box. I pulled the lid off of a can of spray paint and filled it with water then went to the convenience store and bought a granola bar. After crumbling up the granola bar the chicken started eating and was content. I tried to find a good home for the chicken and was successful. It now lives in my house and when it gets a little bigger I am going to move it to the shop full time. I guess every sign shop/motorcycle shop/hotrod shop needs a territorial game chicken as a mascot. Follow the continuing saga of the life of a chicken here as it happens. I will keep posting as Chicken Little grows and matures into a full time employee of Crowder Industries.
